Death is a Silent Criminal

Death is a Silent Criminal

A Poem by Serenity
"

This is a memorial poem for a friend of mine who just passed away in a car accident.

"

Death is a silent criminal;

Unbiased, impatient, and absolute.

A glutton for lust,

He robs society of her jewels.

The youth were not ready,

Nor those left behind.

For the void is definite,

Though forever surreal.

Hearts stained with memories,

Longing only for more.

Death has taken a star among souls,

An irreplaceable member of a now-lame populous.

Lives forever changed by her short time,

Her legend clings to their souls through the ages.
