Metaphysical Encounter

 

 

I dream,
I see you,
You have up this wall that is impenetrable,
I can feel you,
I can read your thoughts
For we are connected,
Intertwined.

I know why
And realize why
I am too much.
I can read your thoughts
And I understand
Why love cannot exist.

We are connected on a
Metaphysical plane,
Honey I have tried to disconnect
Cut the cord
Unbind the ties that bind.
Just as the moon waxes and wanes
I feel that your love for me does the same.

You can read my thoughts,
You can feel me
You visit me
Only in my dreams.
You send me messages,
You tell me the answers
That my heart disdains.
You are leaving soon
Traveling to places unbeknowest to me.
You let me know bits and pieces.
I feel you leaving...

I accept the solace of lonileness,
I indulge in you only in my dreams.
No longer present on an earthly plane
Will you still visit me?
Will you continue to haunt me in my dreams?
 

Our eyes lock with passion
Supernatural pleasures exist
Our astal connection is disconnected
Just as easily as it started
It is dismissed...
We mix and mingle
Converse
Telepathicly...
I feel you leaving me
And I disconnect
Still wondering.

ah thank you for your review. i left the poem abstract for a reason... the reader can make up their own conclusion, their own encounter based on the other poems. this one goes with the collection and you can clearly see the growth and dismission of the relationship of the two individuals during the proces.. thank you humbly for the review and for reading my work!

this is an excellent and honest psychological tract with authentic emotion behind it... but your language is too abstract to really show us the fabric that ripples this metaphysical evidence to your savoire-faire
