Wishing on a Rainbow

 

 

A wish

 a dream your heart makes

it says so in a song

when you wish upon a star

your wishes must be strong

but to wish upon a rainbow

 is such magical sight

so on a rainbow

I wished for you

to come to me this night

and in my dreams

your memory cast

in colors

rainbow hue

the sweetest eyes

I've ever known

I remember, Ocean Blue

the grassy knoll you sat upon

lush and emerald green

this was the setting painted there

within my rainbow dream

 a lake that sat beside the grass

soft golden yellow sand

an orange glow an aura cast

just then you took my hand

pink the color of my face

a shy and timid blush

my heart beat fast in shades of red

a sentimental rush

Lilac flowers in my hair

Complete colors reflection

within my world of memories

a rainbow recollection

your smile lit up the universe

in Technicolor schemes

every now and then

I travel back

in Technicolor dreams
