Art of love gently glassed!

Art of love gently glassed!

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

O’er the valley where the lilacs bloom,

Swiftly like swans we shall gently grace,

Behold my love! For love shall tangle us wild,

Clutch hands with mine, as we sway along,

Blue skies are our guardians and sunshine bright!

In the shadows of the lofty mountains we kiss mild.

Upon the pebbles flows in ripples the balmy stream,

As sunshine gleams and reflects in its golden rays,

Say not you, nor me! Let not the lips but the eyes speak!

As the riddles of passion be unveiled in the gentle breeze,

Hear not the sounds of the swift stream or the chirps,

But in rhythmic beat of our hearts be beguiled and meek!

We shall stay there for hours, as our soft skin brushes along,

Guzzling your aura sweet ‘n’ entangled in the love-laced web

Thirst of love quenches not now nor even after years has passed

As this feel goes on and on, celebrating this moment shall we,

For love cradles not you, not me, but the in grand unison “WE”

As this passion of love we place into the trust gently glassed!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece.

I loved these first stanza's lines.
