Happy Person Who I Dream

Happy Person Who I Dream

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

My lids flash fast and I've nothing left to say,
As transparent pearls trickle down its way,
A silent smile curves its path across my cheek,
Untold dreams that make me tremble, and go weak...

I have a long way to go, longer than I think,
All I can say is, I'm stronger and at myself wink!
My nights are curled in my arms night,
A different person, whom people haven't seen in light.

I stare at my empty hands, as streams of pearls shed,
I hear echoes of past and future unevenly spread,
Louder in my head, not knowing what it means,
I close my lids as my eyes go dry and washed clean.....

I'm stronger, stronger than I know or say,
No tears nor lonely hugs can longer stay,
Sun shines to make my soul gleam,
I am once again the happy person who I dream.

To walk along the shore, leaving behind the footprints for the sea waves to tickle, the cool water washing your legs as you walk by, gentle breeze whiffing your cheek and mildly wavering .. more..
