My Man!

My Man!

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

His eyes so dark like the sky in the night,

Radiating love rays just so bright,
His hairs so shiny like the strand of silk thread,
That I love to brush with my hand widely spread.

In natural red are his sweet adorable lips,
So inviting and waiting for a sweet long kiss,
Lying on his shoulders so broad and toned,
I feel like again giving my heart which he already owned.

His smile so lovely, attractive and captivating,
Towards him my concentration, he is always activating,
Everyone around him loves the jokes he cracks,
For, he can make fun on all tracks.

A Well-exercised body so athletic and fit,
He looks so handsome, which I should admit,
His mind works so intelligent and fast,
Which for sure should forever last.

He is so loving and always shows great care,
With him, my life I would like to share,
He behaves so gentle, lively and smart,
Am just so happy to call him my sweet heart.

This is really nice :) I love the feel of this poem. How you talk about every part of him. It really radiates love.

My only fault is this line:
"His hairs so silky like the strand of silk thread,
In which I love to brush with my hand widely spread."

I would take one of the "silk" out and possibly edit the next line a little. Maybe "That I love to brush..." insead of "In which"

Nice work.

"His hairs so silky like the strand of silk thread"
everything about your poem is excellent, buutttt it would help if you only kept one "silk" in this line :)
