Magician

Magician

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

I can see it here,
I can see it there,
I can see it everywhere,
I really know not how!
But this man does it somehow!

Up and down the cloths flow,
Flowers from above fell in bright yellow,
Everyone looked keen at this fellow,
Then the bird turned into a lovely rose,
Wondering how, I watched him close.

Know not what?
Neither can I predict the start!
This magic is really an art!
My eyes is deceiving me,
Couldn’t believe in what I can see,

The rolling drum with knife,
Man was plunged and he still had life,
Would he reveal the secret to his wife?
I knew he does something,
Which finally turns out nothing!

I know everything is a lie,
The man shakes clothes to gain foci,
Still I watch it, and know not why!
The magician does it so well,
The secret of his art, to none does he tell.

I can see it here,
I can see it there,
I can see it everywhere,
I really know not how!
But this man does it somehow!
