Girl Found In The Valley

Girl Found In The Valley

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

This is about a little girl young and just fifteen,
Who was found, in the valley so pleasant and green!
Song about this girl who was sashaying,
Where the flowers on river borders were swaying,
It was a scenic green grass meadow,
On the corners was neatly arranged windrow.

The pleasant fragrances of the flowers were gently whiffing,
The small birds were ready to fly with their wings flapping,
Around her there were colorful butterflies all over fluttering,
Her innocent looks and euphonious voice was all-flattering,
In the mild breeze, the pink gown decorated with lace,
Her cute dress was wavering, like pretty angel was her face.

She was a young beauteous lady so fair,
Partially covering her face, was her curly hair,
The fluffy clouds were enshrouding the blue sky
It was like the sky tickling the river,  though it was high,
It was like a scenic painting, to see a lonely girl there,
There were none around her, still she didn’t care.

I was gazing at the girl from a distance with admiration,
She was so cheerful as though she had taken a peace potion,
The flowers were tilting its heads in joy, in seeing her presence,
And all the squirrels that was wandering, now stood in salience,
As she was singing some song, best one selected form psalms,
She sprinkled water on flowers, with water collected in her palms.

From that day on, this little girl was the center of my dream,
Her unforgettable smile and like little angel she looked in sunbeam,
I wish to see this little Fay each and every day,
Let her always be happy, for that, to God I shall pray,
This beautiful scene in my mind forever will stay!
Girl who was so cheerful happy and gay.
