Kids In Summer

Kids In Summer

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

                     "Kids In Summer ☀☂"

During hot summer days,

When sun blaze bright,
Child plays flying kite.

                  Playing in scorching sun,
                  Holiday time fun starts,
                 They run chasing carts.

                                     No classes to attend,
                                    Summer tents extend high,
                                    Exams end, fears fly.

                  They love catching fish,
                  Their prayers wish small
                  Tiny fish for all!

Returning home at sunset,
Waiting to let in,
With wet dirty skin.

Loved this ... Made me remember my own childhood when 'playing day in & day out' was my only religion. :)

To be young and time to celebrate being alive. I believe our children need to celebrate life before we must work till we die. A excellent poem. Description and story was outstanding.
