You're my POETRY

You're my POETRY

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

I hear loads of word drips,

From those two lovely lips,
You are my only best haiku.

The humorous part of you,
Every time it’s something new,
You become my senryu.

Our love so best and long,
Really true, serious and strong,
None other than you can be my ode.

The every repeated kiss,
Are such a delight and bliss!
You become my refrain poetry..

The surprises and reverse twist that you give,
Those memories in my mind mostly outlive,
What more can I call you than an irony?

Every day is a song,
Our love so rhythmic and long,
You become my lovable ballad.

Every time we talk something crap,
Mostly funny and we laugh without gap,
Oh! Nothing but you, are my doggerel.

You make me live and make my day,
I love all what you mean and  say,
None else other than you can be my carpe diem.

The peaceful moments spent with you,
Are so pure like the droplets of dew,
You are my definition of idyll.

The moments of love and love making,
Is so passionate and breath taking,
Our romantic times form a lovely sonnet.

The freedom and the rules we break,
We make our life delicious like a cheesecake,
Our life is nothing but a free verse.

We both rhyme and think alike,
There is nothing in you that I dislike,
We are a perfect example of a couplet.

I read poetry when I feel drawn to a soul ...I already said that I like your style many times before,( but this poem my sweets !!! )
Has got me so embedded word by word. The way you laid these verses.
I think I will read it again and again..you really want to know if I like it? Poet, I wonder why ,if you are right and there's a twin soul that belong to us or the opposite, do we belong in someone's else's life? It scares me when I read the last verse, even in the mind Ha!
Please promise that no matter what , you'll never let go.. ok?
That's how much I like this poem..xx00

Hello Poet's world,

I am disappointed, I thought this would be entirely about me and how wonderful and inspiring person I am. But NO. You had to go an write a well written, freely moving, and outstanding poem not about Me.

It Hurt. Alot.

Regards,

Matthew

This is so beautifully expressed, taking us across the diversity of poetic expression and letting each reflect a side of the one you love. The last lines reflect the depth of this enchantment!

So romantic, and absolutely wonderful. The analogies you made between your lover and those poems and sonnets, etc. were simply very creative. Great Job.

The poem is more then amazing. Each set of lines making the poem stronger and more complete. I like the statement with the words of poetry coming forward and create a outstanding poem. You create a powerful poem of love and kindness.
