Pet CAT

Pet CAT

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

Look at the cat so fluffy and white,

Whose eyes like fire shiny and bright!
How she loves to play with twigs,
Up in the air look, how she jigs.

Rubbing, licking, scratching and purr,
It really wants you to play with her,
Just keep an eye on your lovely cat,
Else under your cot she’ll bury dead rat.

Once I caught it while stealing milk,
Pulled its fury tail which was like silk,
She kept her face so naive and sad,
I just let it go for it was the only one I had…

Aww, I love it! X3 It's so cute! I can just imagine her flying and flipping in the air with that stick! My cats love straws, probably for the same reason. Great job!

Laughing, smiling .. what a delightful poem plus, the picture is really sweet. And true, young kitty cats just want you to play all day with them and can be so mischievous!

When the cats are kittens. They are very cute. I had cats around to keep my daughter company. Now the cats are my cats. I feed and take care of them. A very nice poem and beautiful photo. A excellent poem.
