It's Another Day

It's Another Day

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

It’s Another Day:

A new dawn, it’s another day,
Bright sunshine has come to stay,
Not for long but just few hours,
Live for the day for it’s fully ours.
The battles fought yesterdays,
The way you lived is what it says,
Think before you speak grim or act,
Can never mend a broken glass is fact,
Our fate is scripted in the lord’s book,
No crime’s a secret for he’s there to look,
Live and die in the land you live,
But in people’s heart, forever outlive.

This is a wonderful write:)
In my opinion, 'lord' should be capitalized

Wow, it's gorgeous! It reminds me of a song called 'Feeling Good', where it sings: "It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good". And your "A new dawn, it’s another day,
Bright sunshine has come to stay,
Not for long but just few hours,
Live for the day for it’s fully ours." sounds even better to be honest!

Wonderfully hopeful and positive words, ' Live for the day for it’s fully ours.' .. so very true, too easy to forget that.

Great picture - who painted it?
