Comma's and full-stops

Comma's and full-stops

A Poem by Shantamurti Paul
"

This poem is a cry against what is meant to be and when the rules become a barrier to oneself.

"

What is it with the soul connecting ?

What is it with the eyes believing ?

What is with the words forgiving ?

And the dream coming true,

What is it with the darkness fading ?

What is with the light sparkling ?

What is with the tears drying ?

And life not being cruel,

Differences narrowing down

Gibberish not making you frown

You realise the hallucination..

What if I pause this,

Put a comma to drag ?

What if I put a full stop.

Would grammar try to brag;

With its explanations?

What if I say, black is the darkest shade ?

What if I say eyes did mislead ?

Would you try to get the blade;

And end the grammar?

And realise that comma is just a momentary lapse in time!

It's all about the stop , the full-stop.
