Shakespeared

Shakespeared

A Poem by Shantamurti Paul
"

This poem is a cry against all the prejudices and the unsung rules of the world.

"
The red shift I saw in you,
A warm hearted coffee on the brew,
The change had just begun,
And with the sound of the gun,
everybody starts to run,
The gun asking to forgive,
Because it made us believe,
That it is the sound of start!
That is what splits us apart
Why can’t we start before we are said to?
Why can’t the race begin without you?
Moreover why can’t the race just stop?
Why do we need to show off before our corpses drop?
Why don’t we just break the queue,
And forget reality, forget what is true?
Why can’t we forget love?
Why do some fear karma, and some fear the God above?
I say, believers will believe,
Happiness is easier to give,
The scape goats of society will always keep crying,
No matter what you do people will always be dying,
Because all people want in their lives is an impact,
It is the only truth, an unsung, unforgiven pact,
My writings will come and go,
People will never give up to put up a show,
They have just got “Shakespeared”,
Live is a stage, thats what all they cared.
