Melancholia

Melancholia

A Poem by ShaunMosley

I am the forgotten,
like waste picked up on Wednesday's,
I linger in green plastic surroundings,
with gloved hands and automatic trucks,
lifting its contents into a bin, no good for anything else
wanted by no one, and yet I soldier on
