Hidden Deep

Hidden Deep

A Poem by shayne
"

It's frustrating not being able to tell people you are not ok. It's the soul within you that keeps crying for help. Hidden deep, unnoticeable to everyone but yourself.

"

There were moments in life

When the lights seem so dim

And thought I struggle to see a light

Inspiration stands too still

Too many things in the dark

That I want to talk about

But words couldn't blurt out

The dull aching that's hidden in clouds

I want to tell you of the darkness

Though you never see me with it

There are dangers that I keep hidden

Though they are dying to make you see

I'm more broken inside

Than my bright words could say

The scars are just a tiny window

Of the hurling storms that leave me astray

I love the imagery you created.

Two main things stuck out to me:

1) I like the image of an inspiration that should be moving.

2) The poem shifts tenses a lot.
