Trapped Inside

Trapped Inside

A Poem by shayne

Can you see my tears?
Because they ain't falling
Freezing in the slow breeze
With my insides mourning

I couldn't let go
With the emotions building in
Couldn't tell you how it feels
But the wrongness keeps tumbling

Have to keep control
Before the pain wins over reason
Gotta keep it all within
I'm too scared to tell any person

The darkness is creeping in
Devouring on what's left
Seeping ender my skin
Coz no hand was there to help me

Too ashamed of the demons
Of the angst I drag around
Couldn't give clues of my condition
Because no one would understand

Can't share a part of my soul
Only to have it broken
Couldn't risk giving it all
When too little's left for my own

Ugly! But I suppose it's a rawness of it that had me posting. It's from a silent, painful debate I have with myself. Of the aches that you'd rather pull your hair out for just to make it go away.
