God Delusion

God Delusion

A Poem by Sher A. Lynn
"

Rants

"
So we metaphorically anticipate,
Underestimating the truth of the matter,
Believing that the death of bees and insanity first started in Alabama,
And that gust of wind from Kansas city that came crashing in with its forgetful breeze?
Well, good thing it was just a fools dream within a dream:
That rapidly evolved into an entire hemisphere of a passive aggressive breed
Incessantly plagued by ignorance, delusion and even locusts?
A double edged sword of lunacy and idiocy - crazy as it sounds.
So they continue to elbow their way out of a grieving mosh pit of madness, mayhem and disarray,
Much like a man made hell, but in the brain, that you can't escape
but instead of thinking,  nothing is done but to create more progeny to entertain that same delusion
As their God sips a cola and snorts some coke,
And they wait patiently for rapture,
kinda like Frabjous Day, but better.
While the rest of us listen to the crickets sing and sit by the dying light.

For another millenia or so, maybe more.
So you haven't lost a step at all then….well, good to know. And in the last minutes of moon strum I think I peered a face peering down….but it may very well have been Elvis Baby~ Singing a country cricket song and slapping some butter on a toasty Frabjous Day; jerking home some cherry coca-cola. Fabulous~
