Once again

Once again

A Poem by shewrites
"

Failure and relapse.

"
Cold hands, grasping at what she can. Slipping, falling. Here we go again. Her own Cold hands, catching her fall. The dirt in her eyes, the familiar feel within. The ground kisses her cheek. Breathe in, she tells herself. Breathe out. For she lifts her head up, once again. She knows this place, she has fell here once before, she has fell here, twice before. Each grain of this ground has been under her nails. This dark place knows her far to well, how to entangle her feet. But as her knees meet the floor, she lifts her head once again.
