New Beginning

Fresh start

Finally the new year is here

and the old one is far gone,

I hope I  can find the strength

and cope and just move on...

for you no longer want anything from me

you have slowly started to erase my

once existence from your life,

which truly hurts my inner soul,

and all I have left are the memories

of a story that was never truely fulfilled.

But, after all I wish you the best,

and hope you find peace within yourself

I'm trying to gain back my sanity

slowly but surely,

So, here I am writing the ending

to my new beginning without you...

No truer words can convey being on the “unrequited” side of love’s break-up. This is exactly what someone feels when they’re surprisingly dumped. There left wracking their mind why, with zero answers ever surfacing. At the time it may seem devastating, but a new door always opens. We are creatures of change. I believe we have the resilience to “power though” given time.
