Honey, did you know?

That you had me all the way

With those softly spoken words,

That you chose to say.

You always amaze me.

And that is one thing,

I’d surely like you to see.

That even though you are not here,

I can always feel your love

Cause I hold you so near.

I’ll always think of you this way

That’s why with you

My heart will always stay.

This is a very good poem. It kind of reminded my of the Christmas song Mary, Did you know. But that might have just been because of the repetition of the title (the title are very similar) Your first attempt is a success.
