Summer Rains

Summer Rains

A Poem by Siddhartha

Not only then as the fragrance of a freshly kissed Earth

Burnt by the scorching Sun till yet

I love you without expecting, without measuring

Without declaring " the silence of a moonlit night

I love you then as my heart beats

Without thumping, warming my chest

Raising in a body a longingness

To reach the essence of You

Truth then be: without pretending nor wanting to

I love you like the wandering soul of a weather beaten road

Loves the wanderlust of a traveler

Giving and in the act of giving " living
