For I Love you Like Cold Nights

For I Love you Like Cold Nights

A Poem by Siddhartha

The winter hurtles across the window

Frosting the glass

Swaying into ether.

Merging,

getting the blankets

submerged.

In the intertwined hours

Between entries and exits of days

the night falls for the winter everytime.

The coldness of its body

resonating

with night’s fevered brooding.

All these nights

I shall await your dreams

before spring

takes you to newer lands.

And the light of my love bends

with innumerable despairs

to attend.
