Divine Desire

Divine Desire

A Poem by silent tempest

I want to write in colours,

make their scent a sound.

Taste the sweetness which they offer,

to life they make me bound.

But to write seems impossible,

is the task to be foul?

I tried to find the right expression,

but the words came none.

A white day broke, a day full of light,

I have to kill laziness, I have to fight.

I long for the seas and their lonely waves,

gulls flying high, squawking with grace.

And to walk through the forests, of singing birds and green,

The meadows like honey, it’s a summer’s dream.

Though now it is winter and the mountains covered with snow,

the rain is approaching, with lightning no slow.

The white city is waiting,

waiting for me and my sun.

I am no more dreaming,

I'm there, living the fun.

In the city of white,

with walls thick and wide.

It's a circle of buildings,

it's my home, finally I'm inside.
