Darkness

My first poem.

The pain consumed her completely,

she was lost in an abyss of her own tears and pain.

She felt like a lonely star in the darkness,

but what she never realized was that she wasn't like a star 

but like the moon

and that every night her lover would admire her

and tell her how beautiful she was,

but still all she could see was darkness,

for her lover was too scared or revealing himself

because her mesmerizing beauty was also frightening.

I have never been a good writer and finally i feel like this is something good.
Don't be to harsh :)
