The Game

The Game

A Poem by Silent Pacer
"

Can you tell I was bullied as a child?

"

The Game

“Disturbed,” “Bizarre,” “Abnormal,” and “Deranged.”

You say such hurtful words,

As if you are trying to hurt,

for your popularity to gain.

Then the others follow the leader,

Like all good little boys and girls should do,

And try to come up with new things,

just as cool as you.

They, in turn, say,

“Ugly,” “Worthless,” “Freakish,” and “Shuddersome.”

What a new game you have created!

Oh what fun has begun.

Cries, Sobs, Shattered, and in Pain.

Oh come see what fun!

Look at what happens,

What fascinating reactions, lets provoke some more.

Crying self to sleep.

Wishing not to wake from dreams.

A noose made of string.

What wonderful reactions!

Congrats, and bravos bullies.

What a wonderful games you’ve patented.

Be sure to pass it to your children,

Or else the game will not live on.
