Poisoned

Ice blue gaze catches me.

I knew it was my time,

They shackled me in the dungeon.

Now i'm next in line.

 

The noose awaits me,

One way or another.

I thought it would be immediate,

Now my option is other.

 

I was next in line for death,

But Valek had other plans.

He trained me to taste poisons.

But my life still isn't grand.

 

Now i'm his understudy,

And excelling in my trade.

But one small mistep,

And i'm facing the noose again.

 

But another fate awaits me.

It's a poison just as well.

For I love Valek.

I'm completely under his spell.

Hm, i haven't heard of it, but it sounds like an intresting book! I like this poem because it has a great rhyme scheme and flow! Great write! ^^
