Cold Autumn Night

Cold Autumn Night

A Poem by Thanatos Darkraven

'Twas a cold autumn night when she waltzed in the room
Filling my senses with her sweet perfume
Her beautiful smile casting a warm invite
To dance with the stars that cold autumn night

Her angelic voice caressing my ear
Easing away the doubt and the fear
She was the moon in person, a beautiful sight
She took my breath away that cold autumn night

A blanket of stars guided our way
As we danced away both the night and the day
Her silky skin all clad in white
She became my Queen that cold autumn night

I'll never forget that twinkle in her eye
I'll carry it with me till the day I die
The smile that casted a warm invite
To dance with the stars that cold autumn night
