Delicate Beauty

Delicate Beauty

A Poem by **
"

Language of flowers were a form of communication during the Victorian era. Lovers would give out flowers to those whom they cherish; like a delicate beauty, hibiscus rose.

"
The wind embarks on a journey,
to find itself and its muse.
There stood you,
proud and aloof.

Like a gentle white carnation,
you dance to the beat of the breeze.
As eloquent as you can be,
The keys to my heart.

Your petals broad and flashing,
your eyes daring and gnashing,
I could only admire you when the wind howls your way.
Forever enlightened,
like a Japanese lotus,
I glanced as you swayed.

Though the moments weren't long,
you were etched in my brain.
The sweet smell of pollen,
gains all the fame.

Indeed you sprout like a hibiscus rose.
