Smile please ...

 

Sometimes in life we feel so blue

But someone somewhere is not happy as you …

Somewhere far a farmer painfully sighs,

Without water as he watches his lands die.

Somewhere at the border when a soldier sleeps,

Missing his loved ones he silently weeps.

Somewhere a poor dad silently cries,

When he sees his son begging for a bowl of rice.

Somewhere in an orphanage a little girl is sad,

When she misses her mom and dad.

Somewhere cold an old couple sit

Remembering the child who did not care a bit.

Somewhere an agonized man wishes for death,

Without limbs each one is a heavy breath.

Look for pain and there will be no dearth,

Smile all the while and happiness takes birth.

Some defeats in life are sweeter than victory,

Just learn to move on and hug all humanity!

To live a life we will learn a lot of pain and disappointment. Better to go forward and stay positive for the people who will need us. I like the feel of the poem. So much pain and suffering in this world. We need more kindness. A outstanding poem.
