all i'll ever know

all i'll ever know

A Poem by Hannah Berry
"

wrote this when i was feeling very isolated and hopeless.

"

pitch black, it’s

all i know

here and there a glimpse of

light

which burns my weary eyes

i want to touch that light

feel the warmth

feel the hope

but it turns its

back on me

and the next second it’s

gone

and i’m left all alone

crying out and

pounding my

fists

against my head

in the pitch black

it’s all i’ll ever know

Goodness, Hannah Berry... what a sad bit of poetry! Sad as roses lol. I hope you're not bringing it forth from experience, but if so, I sympathize and you have my regards.

You've detailed a hopeless situation well. Lovely job.
