Her World

A Poem by Hannah Berry

You make her world everything it should

be,

and she can’t explain why;

Why your perfectly crooked smile puts the stars in her sky, and

your wide eyes and soft lips

cause the waves to crash against her shore,

the shore that she loves more than anything.

How your fingertips paint her skies of purples and blues..

She can’t explain it.
