Empathy

What if you can feel other people's emotions ?

There is something about what I can hear

Sometimes a laugh or a shed of a tear

I always try to stop it, to no avail

Inside it seems, the feelings prevail

I manipulate not earth nor fire

To find the truth is my only desire

The less you show the more I see

To see your lies is an advantage of me

I feel it all, from sadness to fear

It wouldn't matter if you're far or near

As long as I hear exactly how you feel

There is no emotion that you can conceal
