The Whisperer

The Whisperer

A Poem by Sleiman Azizi
"

Awareness reminds one of the value of paradox. With that in mind, I'd like the reader to come to create their own context for the meaning of this poem.

"

Daemon siren
Heard as a whisper

Shattering what remains,
And smashing it all
To oblivion.

All those choices we make, in the heat of the moment… that little voice telling us it's not big deal… it's fun… it'll feel good… We make choices -- our choices are our deamons -- that shatter our lives and leave us and those around us like wrecks on the shore after a storm…

Oh, as I'm obssessed with a presence inside of onself of origin unknown that is a fairly easy thing to elucidate. The Siren a represantation of that which sings aloud to us at times so out of the realm of logic that we shake our heads in disbelief only to entertain the thoughts once more down the road shaking one head in disbelief with oneself yet agin for not having paid attention.

Thankyou
