I Mustn't Cry

I Mustn't Cry

A Poem by Abbie
"

Even though you left me, I will stay strong!

"
You are gone
and I am
alone again.

I thought that
we had something
called love.

Maybe we did
or I just
imagined it.

But that doesn't
matter at all
right now.

I don't know
if you feel
this pain.

But I do
know that I
feel the hurt

It is so
agonizingly and
horrifyingly painful.

I could just
scream
or possibly cry.

No, I can't let
 my pain show
I mustn't cry!

No matter
 how much
I want to...

This is a great poem indeed, Abbie! I know how this feels, when two people were in love and break up. You really want to cry, but you can't because you don't want the other person knowing you're still clinging onto them when they've moved on. Man, don't I relate to this poem so very well! I would have to say most of your writing I relate to most of the time anyway. Keep up the good work! :)

Great job, I love the raw emotion that seems to just pour out like tears falling into an ocean of pain. The flow is smooth and the rythm is almost like a heartbeat. Very wel written, amazing poem.
