Gone guy

What do you see?

She was insecure but never did she show it.
She met a guy full of wit.
He was the kind of laughter she always needed.
Though his heart was more so, hid..
They eventually connected in everyway they could.
It was the kind of love that stood.
He captured her depressed soul.
Nothing more then the half that made her whole.
Obsessed with his love she gave all of herself.
For him to leave her with a kiss.
She promised to wait for him.
As years went by her heart shut everyone out.
She craved his love and no one else.
There was never closure, she never saw him again.
She is left to wonder what could have been.
She still sees him in her dreams.
Reminded of all the little things.
A heart shattered from a summer love.
Left with nothing, she soon forgot who she loved.
Numb, hurt, and gone was all she knew.

The heart is a very intelligent part of a person
often smarter than the brain

it knows when to keep someone and when to let go

and it happens in a blink of an eye
