SIGMUND FREUD

He never taught me

But I knew I must learn

He never told me

But I knew I must ask

He is in grave

His books are in my shelves

He the father of mind’s science

My father never knew him.

His people wanted him to see die.

A fate of many a prophets, harbingers

He stuck to his theories, invisible facts

That he exhumed from disturbed minds

Death instinct wedded life instinct.

Id, ego , superego competed for supremacy.

While unconscious, a hibernating snake

Peeped through pleasure principles.

Even God blanched at his analysis

Of idols and temples made for His existence.

Insecure God shook insecure collective minds.

Minds began to hate the father of mind’s study.

Libido the nectar of existence..

It is there in child, it is there in child..

He shouted from the roof to the world

World cringed in awareness, decided to deny

Defense mechanisms that he brought out

Could not defend his findings and him

He was ousted by hypnotized minds

They were afraid to look into the mirror

He held for them…

Emperor of observatory of minds

Succumbed to death long before

Collective minds declared that….

He was the father of their minds

He went away, teaching them

To interpret their dreams

But never interrupted their dreams

As they afraid in their dreams

To know thy self, he said

Know your unconscious.

To know other selves

Know collective unconscious…

Hey folks, with minds,

To know Sigmund freud

Be ready to experiment with

What he said, what he did

In the laboratory called Mind.

Your eyes can see the invisible.
