Shhhhhh…silence…!!

Hushhhhh….close your eyes

Empty your mind

Cleanse your heart..

 

Look, inside that dilapidated mansion

I sleep with doves and squirrels there

Owl guards me when I am asleep

Moon directs my consciousness

Are you coming with me?

 

If you are coming..

Be ready to expunge

All that is visible

From your eyes..

I am invisible..

I am visible to those ..

Who love the invisible..

 

If you are residing with me..

Be ready to laugh..

Laugh at your own follies..

That made you embrace

This mundane dead world of yours

Learn to laugh at it….

You will be the permanent dweller

Of my castle..

You will inherit it

I really love the wording in this poem. Some of the phrasing sounds really great. I'm not quite sure of the meaning though. It's like I can almost touch it, but then it runs.

I like some of the phrasing, like, "...that dilapidated mansion" and the reference to doves and squirrels and, naturally, the owl. "Be ready to expunge/all that is visible" is direct and sharp. This poem builds in power, bursting powerfully wise to conclusion.
