Anger Mismanagement

Anger Mismanagement

A Poem by Joe Butler

I'm fed up of building bridges, too many splinters on my fingers, the thing is,
I always end up with this,
bad taste in my mouth like milk thats gone south,
but I can't just let go so my hearts a yo-yo,
damn its like a river that won't jam,
forget and forgive how bout a knife for a shiv,
people don't change, they wont just behave, why can't I explain what I'm trying to exclaim,
I think I should just try to except as I let out a breath, we are who we met, true faces aren't kept and lets do our best to puff out our chest..

or we could just live like today hasn't happened yet
