Beyond

To have someone look at you whole.

Exposed like an open book your very soul.

 

Knowing my deepest fear.

Moving too fast, becoming too near.

 

Look in my eyes.

Behind them my cries.

 

Take the time to understand.

My dreams beyond a distant land.

It can be very difficult to expose your soul completely to someone. It is something I have always struggled with but am beginning to realise to open yourself to the right person can be totally freeing. I really liked the intimacy of this poem. NH

great poem I love the fact that its a reflection of you and that some people need to look at others as a whole and see who the person is. (did that make any sense?)
