kyanite sparkles

kyanite sparkles

A Poem by solitare

You said you turned around, and I was there.
Yet I've always been here.
Waiting.
Impatiently patient.
Just for you.
And you were there too.
Convincingly charming...
till my fears tore at my soul.
And my shadow appeared and darkened me.
So you vanished.
Me - poisoned again by my past
of rejection, hurt and anger.
So again I' rejected the one I adore.
And again he's escaped to an uncomplicated easiness.
and so now I reside in my loneliness
dreaming of kyanite sparkles
which sent shudders down my spine...
and sensual lips which exhilerated me down to my toes
and a heart which skipped infinite beats
pounding from your wanderlust,
so peacefully pure and personified.
Then catching myself too quickly,
not wanting to be your predator or your prey
just an imperfect partner, perfect to you as you were to me
I left.... you never knowing that you were none like any other.
I smile sporadically, somberly saddened
as I realize you're not here, nor will you be again.
And your vivid magnetic sparkles are lost to me,
their exquisiteness now only a special memory in my imagination.
And so I resist, yet the tears pour.
And your beauty still touching my soul
with constant idle thoughts of you invading
I detach and see a picture of perfectless me
beckoning my angels to tell your angels to come back to me.
