Blue -

Blue -

A Chapter by Solst Rapture

Inspired by Mean written by a friend.

Something bad thereafter something good follows,
Was his reckoning or so it seemed,
And for every sunset, flower or kiss he embraced,
Had he suffered a terrible deed.

With shoulders heavy, and mind heavy, and arms weary,
He climbed and climbed and climbed,
Higher than any mere mortal had climbed before,
Where he would perch, ready and still,
 Waiting for his fall.

And the fall did come, just as winter comes,
Along with the dark and the cold crafted by the gods.
Harsh it came, and unremitting it lasted,
Longer than any his eyes had ever witnessed,

Though nothing lasts, or remains, or fully heals.
Hearts break as day breaks,
Eyes tell the story,
And our mouths tell us what to do;
“Lose the blue, lose the blue”.

Lose the blue, yes a nice write so do tell him so. I really dont quite know what to say about some pieces and it seems a bit lame to say so little, but maybe little is good too.
