ever have that kind of love that will always, no matter what, love?

when i was young

the only love i knew

was that of a family

and when i'm old

i hope i'll know

your kind of love

but i'm only in the now

and so far there is no love

that is coming my way

on some days i wonder

if we will ever love one another

though i wish my heart did not still linger

my eyes still search for you in the crowd

while your eyes search for someone new

and some day i will accept that we will always and only be...

two.
