Exodus

Exodus

A Poem by Thus Said Broken

Trapped.

Isolated.

Alone.

Held down by the chains of humanity.

Held down by the human vessel.

Held down by the shell of us all, the sanctuary of the species.

All you need is at your disposal.

All you have to do is imagine.

You can ascend to the highest peaks, or sink to the lowest valleys.

All with a thought.

All with an idea.

You can even transcend time itself, if that is what you wish.

There are no constraints to hold you back.

There is no one to stand in your way.

It’s only you, and whatever it is that you wish to become.

All that you want and seek and long for,

everything, it can be yours,

if you can just imagine it to be so.
