The Corner

The Corner

A Poem by endlessmisery
"

It's good for when your feeling left out, introverted, or blue.

"

 Do you see it?

That corner in the room,

where shadows lurk and demons hide.

Can't you see that is where I hide?

Or maybe it isn't me that you seek,

but it is the corner you do not see

Why would you want to,

when there is a monster inside of me.

Who would want to partake in the darkness that lurks beneath?

Even I try to find the light.

I wish it to lumiere over me,

to avoid the darkness that lies within me.

And yet, I hide in my corner,

for no one to see.

For who could like someone like me?

Perhaps, it would be easier for me to flee.

No one would notice anyway.

No one looks into the corner in the room,

so no one can see me.
