In love.

This is only something short I've written! It's about love, I guess, It's not much but it means a lot!

In love

I have been in love with you for a while.

I cannot keep this to myself, even if I am docile.

You're the one I want, simply nothing else.

You walk by me, a weary look in your eyes.

And mine? Well, I've so much more to hide.

I smile at you, and you do to me.

Only I know the truth, not you. Me.

You make me smile, I see you in my sleep,

Falling in love isn't what it seems.

You break my heart and I try to fix the shards,

But once it's broke it'll always fall apart.

This is true, I tell you. I'm in love. 

You make me happy, to the heavens and above.

This is my first poem I've been ever been happy enough with to publish! Constructive criticism is fine, but please don't be too harsh. I hope you can relate to this poem!

It's okay to be scared at first so I completely understand how you feel. I have a whole journal full of poems that I let my friend critic so I can improve. Just share them with a friend and you'll feel much better and less scared. -Adriana xo
