Birds of a Feather

Birds of a Feather

A Poem by Soren

A raven went to shaven

One fine morn

Feathers waven nothin he was saven

Until completely shorn

See’n his complexion in his reflection

He said it’s changed from black to white

From this correction I’ll get more affection

Even though it’s not right

But all the other birds, in just so many words

Let the raven know

Their detection and then rejection

Indicated he was not apropos

It makes me cry, I can no longer fly

And my voice I can’t change

Now a lie in every eye

Everyone sees me as strange
