A Poem by space_rulers
"

Another late night adventure of my mind

"
Do you ever stare at the ocean
It's seeming aimlessness
It's desire to reach a destination
A destination unknown

It doesn't know where it goes
but every day sets out a course
and it goes and it goes
back and forth it goes
not worrying about the day before
or about the day after

You might stop it ask it where it goes
and all it says is i must go
so back and forth it goes

Sometimes it cannot go
as the day wears down its insistence to go
so it waits, waits for a time when it can go
and then it goes
with the moon it goes
as if found new energy with moon
it has the energy to go

So you ask it once again where it goes
and all it says is I must go

and you sit there with the ocean
hoping you can also go
grab a tide and you can go
but you know you can't go where it goes
so you sit and wait for your moon to make you go.

Hello, I really like the very even and rolling flow of this. There is a continuity that seems both free and calculated. An all round excellent piece.
