No Sympathy

No Sympathy

A Poem by SpeedyHobbit Armstrong
"

A poem about what happens when you finally violate people's trust in you one time too many. (Most unfortunately based off real life thing that happened to me)

"

Now your friends don’t like you.

Oh, and mine don’t either. Nor do I.

Poor you, feeling lonely?

It’s too damn f*****g bad.

That’s what you get when

You consider people playthings!

No means no. Stop means stop.  Get it straight.

Oh, you’re STILL violating boundaries?

Sex toys your girl friends are NOT!

You said you’d never do it again.

Many a time you’ve said this.

Pray tell us then, why?

After all this forgiveness? Why do you

Throw a fast pitch back into our faces?

How many times can you prove false? CONGRATULATIONS!

You’ve FINALLY done it one time too many!

For now we ALL  know what you are

Rapist in the making!

Oh, you’ve  had PLENTY of second chances

Misogynistic martyr, we have our limits.

Understand this, you reap what you sow. You’ve

Sown seeds of sorrow. Now enjoy the reaping!

I thought this was an amazing poem. I especially loved the ending, "Now enjoy the reaping!" You get what you give. I personally believe in karma. Very well written, and thank you again for taking a look at my autobiography. It meant a lot to me.

Most unfortunately there are. And just got triggered about this experience, gooood times.
Guys like this don't realize ladies compare notes, and word gets around. It sounds like this jerk was headed off before there was real harm, but somehow I doubt he will change.
A well laid out accounting of a distasteful time.

A very powerful piece and full of emotion. Not an enjoyable read due to the content but one that can touch your mind and keep you reading. Excellent.

I am so sorry you dealt with someone so terrible. You are very strong not only for being outright about it in your poetry, but also for warning others of his dangerous actions. Very well written.

Thanks so much!
I dont believe in sympathy from people bc at the end of the day you r all u got and no one can live for you, no ones heart is going to beat for you and at the end of the day that to me my friend is spontaneously beautiful and unforgivable one of the purest affection you are ever going to get out of this world.

You speak the truth there.
This sounds to me like maybe it should be in a short story format rather than a poem format. In any case, the predator should never be trusted. Often times they have no control over their impulses which makes them dangerous. Powerful poem Cher.
