I tried to steal a kiss

I tried to steal a kiss

A Poem by little bad puppy
"

a simple poem in a lonely time

"

We met in the dark moon light, only seeking our hearts delight.

Each of us beaten, battered, and worn, For in the past our hearts where torn.

In the midnight dark under the trees, we both where seeking what mite be.

Your eyes are lit with golden star showers, I am trapped in them and in your power.

One last time I lay my heart bare, searching for love with only a prayer.

I breach the night with quiet whispers, hoping only for the chance to kiss her.

This was beautifully written. I could "see" everything you were describing - the scenery, the emotions, the thoughts. This was very well executed.

Some critiquing:
In line one: "moon light" is one word: "moonlight".
In lines two, "where" should be "were".
In line three: "where" should be "were" & "mite" should be "might".

Great work on this one!
